Mission Statement

Here at Elma E. Barrera Elementary, we believe that each and every student has the potential to become the world leaders of tomorrow. We will strive to achieve student success and excellence through teamwork with staff, parents and the community. While giving them the tools they need to achieve a love of and thirst for life-long learning our staff will work daily to instill values such as self-respect and respect for others. Elma E. Barrera Elementary will provide students a warm, nurturing, and safe environment where every child has a sense of belonging and their individual needs will be met. We, as educators believe that it is our mission to help our students develop and achieve their goals.
